Does anybody else have a little play in the shifter when in gear. Not so much up and down more so forward and reverse motion when in gear. Thanks. 2001 2.8QM

Yeah, i've noticed that too... Is it possible to tighten it up somehow?

get a short throw....it basicall eliminates it, i had that happen before and after, no play.

I only get some slight side to side play with my SS, because I dropped a grommet and it has that little extra room.

But even the cheap ebay shifters will elimate it and you can get rid of push down reverse even easier.
