Playing Mp3 discs in Factory Radio...
I have an silver 03 Audi that does not have the Bose package. It does have in-dash 6 disc CD Changer though. I would like to be able to play Mp3 discs but I don't think the factory radio supports playing Mp3's. Does any Audi factory radio's support this format or will I have to buy a different radio/cd player if I want to have this option? Also please note I don't mean burning an audio CD using Mp3's, I mean actually playing Mp3 music files.
Thanks
Thanks
I do have an Ipod and eventually I would like to hook it up in my Audi. That would be a very nice substitute but until then I was just curious if the factory radios could play mp3's.
easiest way to do is...
hook up a audio wire to the same wire as the input from the CD changer.
someone did the same thing to a Corolla... and you can see the instructions here.

good luck..
Of course.. you can always buy a Mp3/CD player along with an Auxillary input so that you can hook up anything to it.
My stereo got Aux input and I love it.
