Default Please give me some good news...

Hey all, I have posted a couple of times here, and have appreciated the help before. Last month I purchased a 99.5A4 1.8T with 68k on it. It bumped a little on the front right side, just as I went over bumps it was a slight knock. I know that the front right tie rod ends are bad, I could see the blown out bushing. Yesterday I hit a real bad pothole, damn Michigan road, and now its real loud and has a bit of a sqeak when I turn the wheel, still from the same area. Am I lucky enough to where just replacing the tie rod ends will be my saving grace. I am in a pretty tight financial position right now and cant really afford for it to be anything more than that? What do you guys think. Thanks, and I will try and post some pics of my car when I can.

sounds like it's just the tie rod end...you should replace it asap to avoid damaging other parts....the tie rod ends are pretty easy to replace yourself, if you're low on cash.

you should also do both sides at once...if one is bad, the other is probably not far behind....and also you've already got all the tools you need out, and the process is fresh in your mind, so it will save you alot of time...you can get tie rod ends for pretty cheap from ecstuning...
