Default Please Help!!

I'm writing on behalf of a friend. She owns an A4 with AWD. It's a fairly late model sedan with a powerful turbocharged engine. Anyway, she did not get an owners manual with the car and now she gets a warning light consisting of a yellow or amber circle with 3 or 4 circular dashes on each side. I believe it might be a brake warning light. I would appreciate information on what this light means, what to do to address it and how to make it go away....

Thanks very much in advance for your kind help

This is only a guess, but I'd say low brake pad warning. Hard to say without seeing it

Sounds like the low brake pad warning light. Change the pads, and make sure you use the ones with sensors in them.

(0) add brake fluid or warn front brake pads.

Start by adding brake fluid (DOT 4).
