pollen filter & tranny flush

97 A4 Q 2.8L manual gearbox

Does the 97 have a pollen filter and is it easy to do a gearbox flush on a manual?

pollen filter, yes if it has aircon
flush on a manual tranny?? not required, just drop the gearbox oil and fill with new

Trans fluid change is easy. Get a little pump at sears for $12 and get your fluid. It's a MESS when you drain it though...

Where excatly is this pollen filter located--you talking about the cabin air filter-- cause that's what im courious about.

On my B5 the pollen filter in under the black plastic cover that goes over the battery on the passenger side.
