a few days ago when i was changing my oil instead of crawling under my car and finegaling my arm around to get to the oil filter i took the intake hose off.......and what was that i saw and smelled.......it was burnt oil.....so i took off the hose on the bottom of the inter cooler to see if there was alot of oil in the intake system.....there wan't just a thin layer of oil....so my question is is my turbo's bearing gone/going bad???? and if so when i replace it can i throw on the k04 and add the other stuff later?????¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿

 

It is normal for there to be oil in there

But the question is how much is a lot??

I would say anything over 1/4 quart is too much

 

no not a 1/4 quart just a thin layer on all the intake tubing from turbo up......but still can i run the k04 on stock everything for a few months????

 

Yes you can run the K04 with stock parts.

 

I would take your intercooler out and clean that also

 

is there any write ups on here i haven't seen any......and what should i clean it with????[sm=helpout.gif]
