i was driving my car home last night and i noticed a "BOV" type noise when taking my fpoot off the gas. I later read that this means my DV is toast. Is there any truth to this? I also have a question about Vag Com. I want to be able to check out my car so if any one knows of a good place to learn about it could you please post it. thanks

p.s. this is a newly purchased 03 A4 1.8TQ certified preowned from an Audi dealership. Does anyone know if DVs are covered by warrenty? and the car has 38K miles on it, how long to DVs tend to last?

The BOV noise is not always the DV, it can also be a boost leak. Both are bad.
