Potential New Guy Seeking Some Real Insight
I am really considering getting an Audi A4 2.0T, my first Audi. I love the car, love the drive, but have heard many things on both sides about Audi reliability.
I was just hoping to hear some thoughts on the subject from people who know their stuff. Up till now, I have driven non event cars like Toyota and even Saturn, so my enjoyment isn't what I'm worried about.
I know I'm going to love the car, I just have been scared into thinking I will never be able to because it will always be in the shop.
Thanks in advance for any input.

they are great cars, if you take care of them (regular scheduled maintinanace) they will never lat you down...And the bonuses for going with a newer one...2.0T is a little more power, water cooled turbo (as opposed to coolant/oil, where you worry about cooling before shut off), and you will be under warranty from dealer (most likely)...the biggest expense on these cars are the timming belts which should be changed at 90K and every 90K afterword (which runs about 1k through dealer)....
go for it, no worries....good luck!
