problem with this hose.

anybody has had any problems with this hose?

 

Yeah everyone has a problem with that hose, its the rear crankcase breather hose. There is a TSB for it on the 02 but your out of luck. Just get a new one with three clamps, they will give you an up-dated one which is much stronger.

 

thanx i forgot to mention this isnt even 1 year old since i bought it. this is my 2nd one ( 1st was the stock one). is that normal?

 

Yeah i have to say it is, that hose gets exposed to super heated air both from the exhaust and the valve cover.

 

hummmis there a better hose out there than what audi has or is that the only place to buy it, at the dealer

 

another thing do i have to change MAF sensor to a better one than the stock one since the car is chipped????

 

Never change the MAF sensor un-less instructed to by the company that provides the chip.
The dealer should give you the up-dated one crank case hose.
