Problems....
Nothing extremem yet... just things that are pissin me off. Just to give you the low down I have a 2004 1.8TQ A4 with about 64,5XX miles on it. Been planning to do the timing belt for a couple weeks now and I think it'll have to be done very soon.
-About a week ago I went to go start my car in the morning and when I turned the key the car turned over like normal, started up, and just as the RPM's hit around 2K, they just dropped and the car stalled/died. Didnt think much of it and went to turn it on again and it just started right up. No worries right?? Wrong. It's been doing this at least every other day, if not every day for the past week and its startin to **** me off. The past two days its been happening 2 times before starting up correctly and its getting to that point. I'm not a mechanic or anything, but I know they change the fuel pump in the timing belt kit so could that have anything to do with anything in my situation? Just been pissin the crap outta me lately... and thats only half my problems.....
-About 2 weeks ago problem number 2 arose. I was at my friends house for a couple hours and when I left for some reason I just didnt have the music on and had the windows down... get some fresh air at night. I put it in drive and as i pull out a hear a loud and distinctive woot woot woot. A rubbing sound so to say. Coming from directly under the car if not more to the right. The sound occurs mainly in first and sometimes into second... after that I cant tell if it goes away or just fades into the sound of the wind and the engine. Been pissin me off a lot and idk if this also has anything at all to do with getting a new timing kit. Blehhhhhhhhhhh.
- As a minor thingy my passenger side HID lamp hasnt been lighting up every now and then but if I turn off the car give the light a little love tap and turn the car back on it works perfectly, I think it might be a loose conection somewhere... who knows.
If anyone out there has absolutely ANYTHING to say to any of this please chime in. At this point I would love it if someone would just give me words of wisdom... better yet, just lie to me and tell me everything will be ok when I get the timing belt kit. idk... anny info welcome.

Thanks a lot man... appreciate the help. Anything else anyone wants to chime in on please do... this is one of those things where I NEED some kind of response/input or I will be stessin for a while. Thanks.
for the hid's, if the bulb is flickering or it has trouble lighting up or it seems a lil dimmer than usual, its about to go out, so go get a replacement, and check how you mounted the ballast too, i just replaced mine not too long ago
