I have a 02 B6 A4. The stereo is malfunction. Here is the situation....

The lighton the stereo is on all the time evenwhen I stop the engine, take the keyoutand lock the car. Both radio/cd are not working. None of the buttons are working The display on the stereo is blank with lights on.

Is this a problem with the stereo orwith the electronics in the car? should I go to the dealer or a carstereopro?

u have a short from the power wire of the radio to the battery.

 

Remove the fuse and put it back it in. Should work for a while.
