i got a new 2005 a4 today and its by far the BEST THING ive ever driven. it handles sooooo smoothly and its so feature packed.

let me tell you guys what i got:

V4 fwd automatic

premium package
sports package
premium audio package
navigation

and i was able to haggle it down to 1,600 dollars more expensive than the advertised price. (which is manual fwd and only includes the premium package)



i heard that you can modify the dvd to play movies while you drive.. the dealer told me to go to a car moding place close to my neighborhood to check it out..

Just as a point of information, the Audi 4 cyl is an inline 4, not a V4. Either way, it is fun to drive.

If you find that you want some more power out of your car, for less that 600 dollars you can have a new ECU chip installed which will add an additional 40+ horsepower, and totally transform your driving experience.

hahaha i got automatic cause this is my first car. i didnt really do my homework with the engine and all that because at this point im not really into the whole speed thing =P. i chose the audi primarily because of its functionality and its beautiful look. also test driving this thing was a blast! it handles very nicely, comparable to a lexus. i test drove a g35 and a mercedes c class before i tried out the audi. the c class had a very heavy feel to it while the g35 was just unresponsive. i really like how lexus's feel (my mom has one) but its simply to mom/dad-ish for my taste. i tried out an audi and man i loved this thing. i originally didnt have my hopes high for the a4 but i couldnt stop smiling after test driving it!


and ill check this ECU chip out =)

 

also i was wondering does installing the ECU violate lease terms? im leasing this car so i dont know if its allowed.. and also what sort of implications are involved with instaling this chip? does it overpower the engine so much that it breaks down? any help would be nice!
