Default purchasing the 007

I will be purchasing the Forge 007 DV this afternoon, but before i do this, i would like to know if your will heara "BOV" like noise when shifting, i realize it would be as "intense" as a BOV. i guess my question is will it be loud enough so the people will hear it everytime i shift or rev it at a light or whatever... i am not big into racing the car, i just want the noise when shifting, you know what i mean.... if it makes any difference i have a 00 1.8tqm

It will be slightly audiable, but not obvious or loud. Youll need an intake or air box mod for that.

i have an intake and a full exhaust, like i said before im not into racing the car.... and i know that the car could respond poorly to a vent to atmosphere BOV, as oppossed to a DV, but i really want the sound of the BOV.... is there damage that can be done by using a BOV? or does it just make the car lose some power / boost?

It will make your car run lean and over time will destroy your engine if you use a BOV. However if you have a SFMS or a reflasher you can tune your car to run perfectly with a BOV
