put in intake (k&N) and now car sputters
The carbonio is nice most people say stick with the stock airbox but they just get caught up in the hype of intakes dont do anything! At night you really can feel the throttle response.Until i see a dyno saying other i see nothing wrong with buying the intake.
it's got to be the MAF sensor. I here about this problem all the time when switching intakes. Even on my friends 98 maxima se. His did the same thing and this was the problem.

2001 is AWM engine code, and plug type is different. It wont work.

i got the one you found on ebay... the one with the blue writing on it....

alright i just put in the new maf.... guess what?

i run the engine with no maf... car runs great... broke a bit of my old maf plug it in... car runs fine but then again i get a code... bought a used maf off ebay... plug it in... car runs shitty again.... wtf could be going on here?
and i cleaned the new (used maf)... any clue?
