quatto clutch slip
Experiencing sum server clutch sliping in my 2.8 a4.First noticed it when pulling away before, but now it happens while cruising at most speeds.
I asume i need a new clutch, is this going to be extra expensive due to the four wheel drive system?
car has done 125k, isthis problem common?

RE: quatto clutch slip
When you start to notice it, its time to get it replaced. You have waited and are now running the risk of getting stuck somewhere when that thing totally goes out.
Yes you need a new clutch. All clutches are expensive aren't they? If you get OEM it shouldn't be too bad. I don't think aftermarket are going to be too much more expensive though.
Its common enough. It all depends on how you and the previous owner drive. Some people are nice to their clutches and some are not. I think 125k on these cars is not uncommon at all.
