Never drop your clutch from 5k, what I usually to do get the best launch with minimal clutch ware is rev while waiting for the light to change hold my revs from 2.5k-3k then quickly let the clutch off and as soon as its at the very end and in the turbo range I floor it, and make every shift at 6.2k or so

 

5k clutch drops? ouch[:'(] good thing you dont have a suby or you woulda really fecked your tranny up

just do the method previously mentioned and practice it a lot until you got it down.

 

On asphalt I drop at 4k. On dirt/gravel, dump off rev limiter. I wouldnt do what I do tho. Im trying to blow my clutch so I have an excuse to throw a stage 3 in. Stage 3 clutch an you can dump at rev limit on asphalt all day long. MM quattro.

 

Yeah i know he will destroy me, its a given, the car is fast enough stock, and hes bout to drive to chicago to get a front mount, turbo, clutch and flywheel installed for god knows how much $$$. way too much money into a car in my opinion. Is going to get **** for gas mileage and its his only car lol. Sucks for him. They are decent, but the kid doesnt know how to drive it
