Is it just me or can the stock 1.8T clutch not launch for ****?

 

I can tell you the auto sure cant. Brake Boosting dosent work for ****.

to be fair to the krauts who designed it, i don't really think thats what they had in mind lol

 

the stock clutch can launch, i did a 0-60 video and launched on the stock clutch.... that and trying to brake boost ended it's life as we know


as for brake boosting, there is a throttle cut set up to not allow, i know apr has a two foot program, not sure if anyone else does

My stock clutch lasted about 6 months when I was drag racing the car at the track every single weekend.

If you want a clutch that will hold for launching, get something that is stage 3 or higher and has Kevlar disk or a 6 puck. The CM 240mm FX300 kit would be plenty. Not like I know anything about lauching a AWD turbo car
