Lose the NAV, add the Quattro, buy a Garmin C320 GPS for $300 and come out +$1,500.....
Quattro should not affect the insurance too much. At least not enough to be worth getting the FWD.

I owned 2 BMW 330i's before I discovered Audi.
After adding the RS4 sway bar, the car responds similar to my previous Bimmer's, and it has QUATTRO which means when I do break the azz-end loose - there are FOUR wheels there to save me instead of two!

The quattro is 1, AMAZING, ans 2 should actually SAVE you on inturance. the same way having a turbo hurts your insurance.

 

just get quattro, loose the nav, and tell your dad that he's being unreasonable

 

yea, aftermarket magellan or garmin nav's kick *** and are way cheaper....and quattro is the only way to go
