I don't know about anybody else but my car didn't want to stop after wiping around in the snow for awhile.I'm thinking the brakes got packed with snow and ice.My brakes are great thought if I drive normal its gotta only happen when it freezing up outside.
no, snow wouldn't get packed in there since the brakes will have gotten so hot from, "wiping around in the snow for awhile" as you put it, that it would have instantly melted..

Quattro rocks in the snow. I went up boarding today and I just love seeing all the big SUV's and trucks pulling over to put on chains when I have to actually TRY to get the tires to slip.

When you're driving in the snow, the groaning noise you're hearing is the abs regulating the brakes so you don't slide. Try not to hit the brakes, just downshift/revmatch and let the engine slow you down most of the time.

Remember guys, Quattro will help you speed up, not slow down.

The quattro is great. we just had 12"+ in MN and once they plowed the parking lots it was perfect to go drive in. gas is always your best friend.

Go out to an open field and practice in the snow. Quattrro is nice, but it dosen't mean you wont slide or loose control comming out of a turn.Drive safely...as stated above Quattrro speeds you up not slow you down.

Remember, when i doubt, gas it. plus it really helps to have better tires, i have kumhos in the back right now and they suck, i have to give alot of gas to pull out of a slide.
