Is quattro worth the money?

It's all on what you want. Ihave been a fan of quattro for ever since I was a kid. I never rode in an Audi before I got mine. Never even knew what they handled like, never knew anyone with one. I've driven FWD and RWD for as long as I can remimber then came quattro every car I have driven after it has been lacking something maybe its the fact there is a bend I tried with normal cars at 90 they would slip then my Audi 3.0 quattro 6spd which I still havnt dared to push the limits on "120" or slide still plunty of pull.
It's all on what you want. I like to drive, I love twisty roads and snow its a bad combo but I've never secound guested the quattro system. I travel in the mountions alot and love it. When I'm in the city I find very little use for it and a FWD serves me best 21mpg tells me that lol.
Is it worth it? = HELL YES

everybody is right, but check this out: stock audi dont have much power, but you have quattro atleast you can take of faster than most of the other cars(raced my unchiped b6 and lost to a corvett by .3 second)
plus if you turn off ESP you can through your car side ways when it rains.

01A4T I had video posted here before, it was '84. actually i think i still have it on youtube(can pull it up right now, im at work) if you search for " audi vs. vett " or something simple like that you'll see black vette on left and my black audi on the right

I'm considering a 2008 A4 2.0T; definitely manual, andI'mleaning toward the Quattro based on what folks say...
Comparingspecs, 0-60 acceleration for the Quattro is only 0.2 sec slower that the FWD's.
What concerns me a bit is the fact that the Quattro's fuel tank is over 10% smaller than the FWD's. On the other had,the Quattro's highway gas mileage is about 10%higher(why would that be?).
Anyone have any concerns regarding the Quattro's cruising range?

Buddy, dont be crunching all those damn #'s... 10% + or - isnt going to make a difference...
Audi minus QUATTRO = every other car
Audi WITH quattro > every other car
quattro is what made audi famous, it is what every other company tries to duplicate with their AWD, its what got audi banned from rally racing... audi = quattro
