Is a K04-017 a good turbo for an A4??

 

Please someone let me know, someone has to know!

appreciate the quick response. yeah i know that the 15 is the "standard" but i was wondering if the 17 would work. If nobody has used it or anything I am not gonna be the guinea pig. Just didnt know if it was a viable alternative.

 

i dont think anyone has and i dont think u shoulkd either, if u want to go wit a K04 go wit something that proven and works K04-015
and isnt the K04-017 for the TT which is the trans engine so it might not fit properly

 

never even heard of the K04-017 what is this from where are you finding this ? the TT uses the K04-23 and will not even bolt up to the A4

 

doesnt the trans 1.8t use the k03- 017 so i though u kno put them together and the TT would use the k04 017 but i guess that was wrong maybe its the RS4 K04s

 

I saw it on ebay but it has ended. It didnt say what the donor car car was but said it would bolt right up to a B6 A4 1.8. Anyways I am not going to risk it. What about the E-05, has anyone on here used that yet?
