Question about 1.8t

After I get done driving my car hard i let my turbo timer cool the turob down for about 3-5 minutes. But one night when i was driving it hard i opened the hood and the turbo was glowing red. Is this normal. Another question does anybody know what the ecu code would be on a 2000 a4 1.8tqm engine code aeb i think. Please help thanks in advance

All 2000 1.8t's are ATW. The glowing red is normal after a hard drive.

that depends on alot of differnt things man, tranny, drive, production date
and AEB is 99.5 and older

red glow is normal after beating on your car a bit, no worries there. thats what the turbo timer is for, so it will cool down slowly rather then fast and warp causing it to crack.
