What is the HP and Torque of a 99 audi a4 2.8? Also for the 1.8T I know the 1.8t can easily be modified to be faster then the 2.8 but that isnt what im looking for. I am looking at this black audi a4 2.8Q, it has black leather seats 18" chrome wheels, 6cd changer, boss sound system (i Believe) It has 69,500 miles on it. I am picking it up for 10,900 I know this is a good price cause it is my roomates family friend. I am coming out of a 97 integra GSR. I am only going to keep this car for a year at most then I am going to upgrade. Do you think this is a good buy?

 

If you're not looking for speed at all then it's probably good. Those chrome wheels are probably heavy.

 

if your only going to keep the car for a year or less then dont bother. Save your money, no matter how good of a deal that is throwing down that money for only a year of driving is very un-wise IMHO

it does seem kind of silly to go through the process of swapping cars out if you're only keeping it for a year. Why not just save up and buy something really pimpy in a year?

The stock HP of a 2.8 is 190 HP, and 207 Footpounds of torque. Sounds like a good deal if the car is clean.

 

The reason that I am going to want to get a car now and not wait another year is due to the fact that I have had my integra for almost 6 years now. I am sick of it and I just want something new. They guysaid he can get me into it and I am just trying to build my credit so I get a new car. Thanks for the answer on the HP.. also I think I found a 2002 1.8t for about the same price that if I get I would keep for more then a year he is going to talk to me about it tonight for what price he can give me.


One a side note.. someone broke into my integra last night. They stole, my racing seats. my radio, a tool box full of tools, all my cd's (around 200) my sub my amp. I had 4 new shocks and 4 new springs int eh trunck also that they took. They took my intake off of my car and my strut bar. They guy is still goign to give me the amout of money for the trade in. But I am so very pissed off.

I am also sick of being targeted by cops my integra sticks out to cops. I always get pulled over cause they think im doing something wrong but really I dont drive crazy I dont cut people off I am not a "ricer" I put money into the car I didnt buy cheap *** parts that dont work and sound like ****.... everytiem I get pulled over they always ask me if I am giong to race or if I was racing, and it is like... was I really going fast.. no but we suppoect you are giogn to race.. I dont get it I havent raced my car for like 2 years. Sorry this is probably just frustration coming out from my car being broken into.

 

yeah in my eclipse was the same, now in thaudi cops dont even pay attention to me.
