i have a 03 a4 quattro 1.8t

i have owned turbo cars in the past so im not a noob to that but why is it that sometimes my a4 seems to spool harder than other....almost feels like the turbo will build more boost if i dont mash the throttle....can someone explain to me how it works?


also......can i buy and aftermarket boost controller? how much boost is safe on stock turbo and internals? will an after market ebc/mbc bring boost on more aggressive compared to stock?

Not sure on the whp, but it both those companies give about 50 hp and 80 ftlbs of torque.
