I am considering chippin' the car, will the speed limiter be removed with any chip? Are there certian ones which'll do it and others that wont?

S/C will be your only bet for getting any kind of noticeable performance gains... for about 5 Gs.

I have a 01, 2.8, 30V and IMO the chip is worth it. Power band is wider, throttle response is better, and I get 2.5 mpg better at steady state throttle. HP per $ it stacks up as twice the payback to something like exsaust. Some numbers to ponder...SC=$53 per HP, chip=$60 per HP, exsaust=$180 per HP etc.
