When you bought the chip did you have to send the trans ecu to giac to have it soldered or was it just a plug/snap in chip? I picked up a used chip but I thought it was one of those that just plug or snap into the circuit board. Also the guy said it was used but if thats the case then it would have to be soldered into an ecu, the chip looks untouched.

 

dont know about the tip chips, but i have both my stock chip and my apr one, they both look brand new even though they have been soldered a few times...
