What affect/if any/would this have on my car? Even if it wouldn't necesarily speed up my car would it make it sound better? The only thing im worried about is installation and whether or not the cheapo kit would actually slow my car down.

Direct links to ebay are a secret, rarified art. Just tell us what you're considering. If it's an intake, no. No, no, no. No. You will lose a couple horsepower and heatsoak fast. I guess it would sound cool, but you could not spend the money and make a "whishhhh" sound when you goose it and get the same effect, but without the heat soak.
