So as some of you may know Ive haad really bad tires on my car. So I got new ones through a shop here and there aew 245/45ZR17. I mounted them but the tire hits the control arms. What spacer woul;d be nessary to get this to fit.?

 

that sounds weird that you are hitting your control arms, i would say yes but call up ecs and ask they can tell you more then I can. That is what I have on my car and fits like a glove.

 

Readimag, are you sure yours aren't 225/45ZR17?

 

i'm pretty sure they should be 225's

 

yeah ......... i am a idiot it is 225 not 245

 

well camoa6 since you are 20mm off the normal tire size it simply seems to me like you need a 10 or 20mm spacer, but i know for sure that 235's fit fine. I can't believe the tires seal with you having that much extra

 

if your lowered and you move it the other direction with spacers you might have to roll your fenders too then you could have gone 255's

 

man that is weird are you sure you did everything corrretly?

 

I know someone who has 255's on his car (same exact car as mine) just spacers and some baseball bat work I believe. The fenders werent an issue for me it was the rear swing arm? and the control arm housing.
