Default Quick question

I searched and I wasn't too sure of the answer. My radio is in SAFE mode, yay for me. The previous owner didn't give me the radio code card with it, I have EVERYTHING else though. Before I call the dealer, or the last place it had the code reset (I have a stack of service records for everything from new batteries in the key fob, to a rusted bolt) I understand that the code is on the sticker that is in the trunk. The sticker is in the spare wheel well right? I took a picture, can someone point out what 4 digits it is?

Now say I tried a code or two, then started up the car to take it home. Drove for about 15 minutes or so, and had to stop and get gas. Is my radio completely locked up for good now? Or is there something else I can do? Jeeze, I always screw up somehow like this...just like 2 days ago when the key of the old Jeep I was driving snapped off in the ignition!

I think you have 3 chances, every day.

and yeah - dealer is the only place to get a code if you don't have the Bose radio manual that came with you car.

I have the manual, just not the code with it I heard from on here that there is a sticker in thespare wheel well that has the 4 numbers, and if it's not in the spare tire area, then it's on the roof of the trunk. I tried to. Also, is there a timer on the car so it knows when it's a new day? Because I did this about 12 hours or so ago, and it won't let me have another chance to do it

If after a day it wont let you try again, disconnect the battery.

Alright the radio is much smarter then that. you cant just wait a day. you have two chances to put in a code. after the two chances are up then you have to leave the key in the on position in the ignition and the radio on for an hour. after that hour is up you can try two more times. and then you have to wait another hour. if you dont have the code you have to go to the dealer. they can get it for you in about a half hour. the only place that i have seen the code is in the manual no where else cuz they tell you to take out that card with the code. it was $45 for me to get my stupid code from the dealer. i got a code in the manual but they switched the radio in my car so the code was wrong. so cough up the money and get it.
