Quick Question about Brake Rotors
So im looking into getting some new brake rotors, and i found a delima, is there a difference between Quattro and Non Quattro rotors or is this just a sales pitch to get you to buy the most expencive rotors. Thanks for any help anyone may have in advance.
I don't think there is. I do know that the rears on the B6 come in 245x10 or 255x12. I think the latter is quite rare because I have yet to see anyone say they have them and I've been reading a lot about rotors these past couple of weeks. To date, the only thing I found about the larger ones was maybe they came on the 2005, not sure though.
At my 60k service, the dealership recommended new pads and rotors. I am excited to replace them, too. The rotors look like ars and the pards are almost gone anyway (3.5mm). I'm definitely going with EBC greenstuff for the pads. The rotors will be powerslots all the way around or maybe the EBC faux drilled and slotted. I just don't want gold-looking rotors on my car!

why do you want new ones, are the old ones out of spec for turning?
