Quick question regarding stereo codes...
OK, I know most people have talked about how the A4 head unit needs to have its operational code re-entered after disconnecting the battery or it won't work. Several posts that I read regarding this were in reference to the Symphony or Symphony II systems. My car has the Audi Concert system - does this system also require a code after the battery is reconnected? The guy I got the car from had all his work done at shops, so if it was required, they'd have re-entered it - he didn't know offhand if the car needed it. I'm going to be putting my amp and sub in shortly and want to know in advance if I'm gonna have to remove it to see if the code is labeled on the deck as some people have said. Any takers on this one - does the Concert system require a reactivation code?
TIA...
TIA...
I can't answer the question, but, I can offer a suggestion that a quick call to the Stealership, if no one here has an answer, should provide the info you need.
Yes, you will need a code. if you got a manual and other material when you bought the car, then you should hopefully find a small card that has the code on it. it could also be attached to the sound system/radio manual.......
