05 A6 with a 2.7?.....i think not

 

i thought they replaced the 2.7t with a 4.2 by then in the A6's

No no no, you guys have it all wrong! The 2.7t in the a6 is the exact same engine as the 2000-2002 s4, its not detuned or anything. And you could of got a 4.2l if you wanted, they are all options, you could of got a 3.0 2.7t 4.2. Both the s4 and a6 with the 2.7t have 250hp.

 

But in 05 you can only get the 3.2 FSI or the 4.2

Audi stopped using the 2.7TT in the A6's a few years ago. They now offer NO turbo'd versions of the A6, sorry... Check your brother's engine again. yea, this is my dad's fat s4,

the 2.7T with manual is amazing, gotta love it especially in the a6.
