Hi All,

I have the standard Concert radio in my 2001 A4.... now when I go to turn the volume up... say to listen to some Nirvana ;-) whilst cruising the damn volume will reset to zero unless I rotate the dial very slowly!!!!!! I have lived with this for a bit... but now IT REALLY BUGS ME!!!!! is this a known problem in the radio?? Is there a firmware fix available OR shoudl I just take the damn unit out and reverese over it???????

PS: Any suggestions on replacemment compatible head units... ie. get the info in the dash board still????

 

Could be just dirty connections. See if you can squirt some contact or TV tuner cleaner in there and rotate. I haven't heard of the problem before.
