When I drive in the rain my exhaust starts making crazy loud noises that sound like my muffler has a hole in it. It comes and goes on rainy days but it's sssoooooo annoying on longer trips. At first I thought I might have a hole somewhere and that water was getting in the hole and gurgling out the back (because I can hear a faint gurgling noise sometimes) but after inspection I can't find anything wrong with it. My other thought was that maybe water was getting up under a shield somewhere but then that really doesn't make sense to me either b/c when it's making the noise and I hit the gas it just gets louder like a hole in the muffler would. Has anyone else had this problem or got any ideas? TIA.
