colder denser air does make a diff for turbo cars. trust me

Ya colder air+forced induction are best friends. But the fact still remains that the stock intake does a good job for what is needed by the fist sized k03. If I had a BT I would do this mod in a heart beat.

I guess I'm just planning ahead. K04 coming soon. and it actually has made a difference, i get higher boost at redline than i did before.

Yes cold air and turbos are good friends, but it dosen't mater if your sucking air from the ground or next to the exhaust. If you don't have an intercooler all that air will be hot by the time it reaches the engine regardless of where your air is coming from. And remeber the only differnece between a $300 intake and a $30 dollar intake is the price and pretty colors. A shiny metal pipe is a shiny metal pipe regardless of te named stamped on the side. It is a good write up for a mod though

Couldn't help it....was the first thing I noticed in the pic. No hard feelings though, could have bought it used and been the previous owner's fault. Just sucks to see a nice car that someone obviously cares about get defaced like that.
