when the k03 goes.. you get a k04.. when your bored with that you get a GT28rs... when your crappy spark plugs go into your head bend a valve, and **** up your turbine shaft , you get a t304e and rebuild your head... when you pop your motor, you bebuild it w/ scat, and an hx35... when it pops again.. you dont quit you throw on a turbo bigger than the motor (hx55) (not really bigger than the motor) ... and you realize that a spool at 7200 is not ideal, so you swap out hotsides

Found out that first one was an hy35w, then the hx40 went in which sucked, so last night i put in an hx35, ill have an update today

well you can't replace just the wastegate its the whole back half of the turbo the exhaust side. I bought a used one from a guy off of here for a 100 bucks ship and put that on there. I didn't go with a bigger turbo because it was for my girlfriends a4. I think this must be a very common problem. So i was able to fix it very cheap but you mau want to go with a bigger turbo. Glad i could help you figure out you problem. I wish sombody would have help me when i didn't know what the hell it was..
