Default Rear End

I'm probably going to get flamed for this post but here it goes anyway.

I have a LS1 out of one of my projects and im about to start a conversion of putting the engine and 6-speed tranny into my 99.5 A4. I'm kinda stuck on what kind of rear end to go with (RWD only). The car is a Front Trak now so i will be starting from scratch. How much power will the stock Quattro rear end hold(should be around 420rwhp)? Would I be able to use this rear in a rwd only setup? If not my only other options would be trying to fab up a corvette or mustang IRS into it. Thanks for any help.

I hd the car on the lift the other day and it looked like it had everything there to bolt up a rear diff/quattro setup. I doubt they would make 2 different floor pans for the same car.
