rear subframe cracking
I read on some site that sell's sway bars for these cars that the 2000 a4 1.8t quattro is one of the models that has a problem with the rear subframe cracking from the stress of the stock (base and sport) rear sway bar, and they advised that if i were swap in a stiffer sway i would be looking at making it more prone to cracking (just makes sense) i know alot of places will talk about this to cover their *** or will bring it up for the very few that it has happened to. But in acuality... can the rear subframe handle an H&R 21mm? Also can the stock plastic endlinks handle the H&R 21mm? thx alot guys

RE: rear subframe cracking
Happened on some B6's last yearIIRC (but may have just been rumor spread by Neuspeed)and Neuspeed claims to have "fixed" it by adding a support brace that needs welded on that other makes don't have.
I've had S4 H-Sport set to stiffeston my back end for a year with heavy tracking and beat-to-death road driving with no problems. I just dropped subframe last week and everything looked great.
