I've just been told AFTER a trans service for $345 that the rear trans seal is leaking and it's $268 (all in) to fix. So my questions are these;

1. Is this something I can do myself? I found no DIY for this so I'm wondering if it's because it's too complicated.

2. Is that a fair price for this kind of service?
