Default Rear window...

The rear left window in my car is acting strange... When i press down on the button, i hear the motor working properly but it barely moves the window... I push the window down, and when i press up on the button, it moves the window up fine.. but do any of you know the actual problem? I'm guessing it's because the motor isnt connected to the window or something.. but what do you suggest I do? i'm out of warranty, so i wonder how much this could cost at some other repair shop, or even audi's own... thanks.

yea, a dealer will charge you $300 for a new window motor and probably tack on a window regulator (not cheap either). Avoid having a dealer do the work. if you can ask questions and turn a screw driver you can fix the problem. I had basicly the same problem in my front drivers side window. i bought a used window motor off ebay and i am in the clear again. it took 15mins to change it out.

How do you think I could take off the door panel? I'll try looking at the window regulator first before buying a new one, to make sure that I don't buy another one while the one I had works... thanks for giving me the heads up about the dealership
