I'm new to this forum and signed on because I'm trying to make a decision about whether I should buy a new Audi A4 or rather German car like a Lexus IS250 AWD or an Infiniti G35x.

I had an 2002 A4 1.8L Turbo, and soon as the warranty expired I started experiecing lots of problems that eventually amounted to quite a bit of headache.

The expense of maintenance isn't as much of a big deal for me as for others, that's because I own my own company, and one of the perks is that the company pays for all maintenance issues up to a reasonable limit.

However, the inconvienience and feeling that you're not getting your money's worth was a real disappointment.

Do any of you know whether Audi has made any significant improvements in their reliability rating for say a 2006 to 2008 model?
