I've tried calling around a few Best Buy stores and none of them want to install a remote car starter in an A4. I have an automatic. I've also asked around at a couple of Circuit City stores. My best luck is trying an independent place?

 

The manual for our cars says not to let our cars idle after starting them... just to start it and drive off conservatively. Just something to think about... I dont know audi's reasoning behind it.

 

But I have also heard that one should let the car idle for a minute or 2 to let the oil warm up and start circulating?

 

Not in an a4, apparently. Use the recommended oil, and read your manual. It says to start the car, and drive off.
