I have a Borla and a high-flow cat. It's awesome. I really need to take a pic of the exhaust. On most mufflers, the pipes inside twist and turn and all that. The Borla splits for a single pipe to the the twin exhaust pipes and you can see the other end if you look into it.

If you do get a high flow cat, make sure to get it installed at the same time as the exhaust. It's still a pain, but you won't have to worry about cutting the cat from the downpipe

remus is very populair over here
though i am no big fan of it sounds bad , and performance wise its not really good either

better of with a thermal exhaust imo

I was in my buddy's A4 3.0l, quality built exhaust the tips were a slightly larger diameter with the logo cut into them...looks trick. The exhaust note was only slightly louder than stock but with a pleasantly deeper sound. I didn't notice any more power driving it, but perhaps there was. If you don’t want that "I just added an aftermarket exhaust sound" like in the civic world it could still be a nice choice, depends on what you want, if it's subtlety Remus is good.
