Got to replace the rear rotors on my '02 1.8T ... is it a big deal or like swapping the rotors out on anything else foreign? Any surprises?

 

it's not hard. all u gota do is take off the caliper support bracket. my b5 had these 8mm allens on them and they were rly rusted. that's the only hard part. other wise is just 2 bolts, replaced parts and rebolt. makes sure u get brake cleaner and spray evrything down good

 

I've done that a million times so it sounds like a pretty quick job. Thanks for the quick reply ... I appreciate it.

 

on mine, i had to get a tap and die set to clean some threads on a few bolts cause there was so much OEM locktite on there...

also make sure you have the proper piston tool, the rear rotors on a b6 must be turned while they are being pushed back in.... harbor freight sells it for $20 i think..
