Ride height, how does it affect handling?
So I'm finally getting ready to buy some shocks/springs for the A4. I'll deffinetly be going with Bilstein sport shocks, but I'm not sure of which springs to get.
The ride height and comfort of the ride don't matter to me as much as how well it will handle on the auto-x//road course (I'm 17, I can handle a bumpy ride) I think I want to go with Vogtland over H&R, but if there is any reason not to, please, enlighten me!
I remember onemoremile (a mod on audizine) posting up about how the track times were actually equal//better with the sport height than with it slammed, because of the more wheel travel and greater contact area of the tire. I'll be getting h-sport sway bars in the near future, so the body roll isn't as big of a deal as the brake dive. Is it just a give and take thing between the wheel travel vs. brake dive/accelerating squat?
Any input is appreciated, especially guys that have tracked their car.

My question:
Should I get Vogtland Club spec springs, or Vogtland Sport springs?

But how low can you go before the stock suspension geometry starts to get funky? From what I understand, there is a point where it gets too low and the handling goes down from there.
my race springs felt a lot mor elike being on rails than do my sport springs. (I have Bilstein shocks)
But the race springs were too harsh for me, and every rattle in the car was exaggerated.
