Default rim size

What are the largest rims I can get for my 2007 a4 quattro with lowprofile tires without the wheels rubbing?

you can fit 20's but then you will be buying new rims every time you hit a pebble in the road.

Why is that? Would you suggest 18s then?

go for something which has a little bit of rubber around the rim to at least protect it if you hit a curb or get a flying rock at the rims. I think this is what he means.

I think 19's should be alright. I agree, 20's would probably work, but tires would have to be soo low pro a little pot hole or something will bend, or worse, crack a rim. 19's should hopefully leave you with enough sidewall to give you a little cushion.

get 18s, and lower it. 19s are good but if you want a low effect to it, or planning on lowering it....get 18s. Alot of people notuie wheel rub with 19s, even more when lowering the car

I would suggest 18 and a nice lowering too. With 18's you can fit a nice lip and a thicker tire which will help with vibrations also.

My buddy has an 06 S4 and it came with 18's stock. I would at least go up to 19's preferably 20's. You can check on tirerack.com they will give you what tire size you would need fit 19's or 20's, if the tire is not too small I would definatly do 20's. His S4 came with pretty big tires, the B7's have a much bigger wheel well.

discount tire direct show's

zero available for 20's
only four wheels for 19's
I would say go with 18's for ride quality - if you lower the car and have super low-pro's then your going to have a crapy ride.

Tirerack.com has a lot more available for 19's. If you insist on 19's then I vote for 19's RS4 Reps
