Default Rims on 98 1.8t

I had 18' rims on my 98 1.8t with 225, 40 on them. I have the eibach racing springs on there so it's lowered a little bit. On my driver side my front tire had about 1/2 inch of the inside part of the tire completely down to where metal shavings were showing. On the back tire it was just completely warped. I hoping it was just a messed up alignment. We had a bad rain one day and it flooded in one area that i HAD to drive through and i had to climb a curb. A week later this all happens. Does anybody know whats going on here???

Could be bad alignment. Is your toe in/out out of whack because of lowering the car?

You need new tires and probably an alignment (you should get one when you get new tires to help keep even tread wear - also make sure you rotate the tires to help even tread wear).....get them to check it out while you are there buying tires. They may be able to find another problem.
