Yeah, my saris, with the fairing, is very quiet. Fairings make a huuuge difference.

How high the yakima rack sits off the car annoyed me... I shopped like a bastard when I bought my rack... and when I decided on saris, it was hard... cause I needed used (since I'm poor). Finding used saris stuff is hard to do.

I like the saris alot but I am pretty sure it can only hold 2 snowboards on our cars, I need 4. Does the Thule sit lower than the Yakima?

I don't know if thule sits any lower than yakima or not...

you sure saris only holds 2 boards? That seems odd.

Thule and Yakima have almost identical height.

just found out that the "Audi" one that you can get from the dealer.. is in fact made by Thule... just FYI

I knew it was made by one of the big guys... and not saris. :P

But yeah, I wouldnt get the OEM one, just because if you swap cars... all you need to do is change the clip things and you can mount it on a different car. I'd prefer to put my bike on top of a beater... i hate getting my car dirty on the way to the bike trail :P
