rough idle
So my car has been having troubles idling when its cold. i start it and its normal, idling at about 1200 and then it starts to die and it will rev its self to a little over 2400. then it starts to drop back to where its supposed to be, 1200, and the process starts again. i plugged it into an obd2 reader and got p1128 manufacturer control. fuel air metering. i was wondering if anyone knew what it could be. i dont have an audi dealer near me so i went to vw, and they said it might be mass airflow, which they have a recall for, or my o2 sensor. anyone know if audi has a recall on theirs?
Year engine type, mileage and mods would be most helpful when posting questions regarding engine problems.
First thing I'd do is check for vacuum leaks and make sure that the gas cap is firmly twisted in place.
