Default RS4 Clutch Question

Has anyone installed an S4 or RS4 clutch, pressure plate and flywheel in their A4? I did. I love it. But, the gears tend to grind sometimes when shifting between 1-2 and 3-4. This occurs only in spirited driving applications.

I was told from my Audi mechanic that it may be from needing the matching slave cylinder from an S4 - so that it would actuate the pressure plate with more force when engaging the pedal, thus making for smoother shifts.

He suggested I post here to see if anyone had some insight into this.

Thanks!

Yeah...it was that or put another A4 OEM back in - and this was an easy and fair priced fix. It definitely puts the power down.
